Featured Handcraft |
“Just about the cutest version of a hippie bag I have ever seen.” Andrea Linett, Lucky Magazine. This purse was shown in the August, 2010 issue of Lucky Magazine, a fashion magazine about shopping and style. The fabric for the purse was woven on a backstrap loom then sewn into this purse by the artisan group, Mujeres Juaneras T'zutujiles. Due to the magazine article we are totally sold out of this purse already! Our next shipment will arrive the first of September so check our online store then to purchase it. |
Due to the recent devastation in Guatemala from Tropical Storm Agatha, Education And More has scheduled a mission trip to the Panajachel area of Guatemala; the team will be working with a local church in the rebuilding and cleanup. You will also have time to visit the Fair Trade artisan groups that we work with, see their villages, tour other areas around Lake Atitlan and do some sightseeing in Antigua. If you are interested in receiving more information and/or an application on this trip please email. |
